The Safer Walsall Borough Partnership was formed in May 2004 following the merger of the Crime Reduction Partnership and Drugs Action Team. The new arrangements recognise the benefits that an integrated approach will bring to residents of the Borough in tackling crime and the fear of crime. The Crime and Drugs Strategy 2005-2008 is the first time the two agendas have been developed as one strategic document and provides the platform from which programmes and interventions to tackle the very real issues faced by our communities will be addressed
