Walsall’s Mobile Library Services have been bringing the library to the people of Walsall since 1982, from its base in Bloxwich.
The staff includes Drivers, Library Assistants, Supervisors, Home Library Officers and Managers who work together to bring library services to the residents of Walsall.
The Services we deliver are:
Mobile 1 – ‘A Branch Library on Wheels’
- A weekly service to over 40 sites throughout Walsall
Mobile 2 – ‘A Dedicated Community Library’
- A monthly library service to people In Homes, Day Centers, Sheltered Accommodation and Training Centres
Mobile Library Services Timetables
Home Library Service
A free library service to people in their own homes who find it difficult to visit their local library due to illness, disability or if they are a carer.
Telephone Book Club
A telephone Reading Group for Home Library Service users, running in partnership with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP).
Computers at Home
