Mayoral invitations
If any organisation or individual wishes to invite the Mayor to a function, or for an organisation to visit the Parlour, you will need to write into the Mayor's Office giving details of the date and time required (start and finish times) with full address details of the venue.
You need to give a brief description of what the event is for and also details of whether you require the Mayor to address the guests, to perform a specific duty (i.e. cutting a ribbon for example) or whether he is just invited as a guest.
We will then check with the Mayor as to whether he is able to attend the function. If he is unable we will offer the Deputy Mayor to the organisation.
