Deaf or speech impaired employees can make direct, live contact within the council and externally to users and organisations.

Customers can use a single contact number for the council and then choose who they wish to communicate with. They are assured of an answer, being able to leave messages or to be transferred to another service.

TexBox works through our computer network, but to everyone calling into the council it will appear just as if a textphone is being used.
